Cherokee Flats

On April 15th, we added a beautiful trio of Toulouse Geese to the farm. Below is some information on them.

Toulouse are a French breed of large domestic goose, originally from the are of Toulouse in south-western France. 

They lay white large white eggs. The males get up to 20 lbs and females up to 17 lbs. They are generally calm, quiet and slow moving. They don't like to be startled or rushed and are very trusting in nature. These traits make them popular as pets.
