Cherokee Flats - Welcome to the Farm
Cherokee Flats is located in Rural Farmer City, IL, in DeWitt County. We are approximately 2.5 hours from Chicago, IL , 2.5 hours from St. Louis, MO, & 3 hours from Indianapolis, IN. We are a small family owned and operated farm and do not produce any animal we raise here in mass amounts.
We specialize in quality animals that are well socialized, cuddly, friendly, and for some, like guinea pigs and rats, they are already litter trained before leaving here.

Cherokee Flats is a proud supporter of
World Bird Sanctuary in Valley Park, MO.
We donate several rabbits and Rats/Mice every couple of months (or as we have them) to help feed these wonderful birds of prey and keep them happy and healthy. We make every attempt to properly sex babies before they leave Cherokee Flats however, we can NOT always be 100% accurate. rabbits younger than 4 months of age can be VERY difficult to sex and yes, we have been wrong. PLEASE, re-sex your babies BEFORE you show them or enter them in ANY fair to help omit the possibility of being disqualified from the show due to WRONG SEX. Trust us, it's happened more times that you know and even to us!
